mother, Betty Martin Stir Melvin and sister, Debra Butcher. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Stir Jr. Despite spending a lot of time with treatments in his final years, he took every opportunity to be with his family and live life to the fullest. Donivan held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being a father and a “Pappy”. He was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He lived for his family and friends and loved all things outdoors. The eldest of four children, Donivan was born on Main Columbus, Ohio. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Donivan Martin Stir of Ashville, Ohio on Friday, August 11, 2023.
